Founded in 1975 by S.J. Huang, as Chuan Phang Ent. Co. Ltd. It began the sales and manufacture of electric winches in a pioneering facility. Originally based in Taipei, Taiwan, Chuan Phang specialized in full production of a wide range of electric winches with lifting capacities of 80 - 5,000 kg .
Continuing to innovate its product range, the CWL series winch were awarded the symbol of Excellence in Taiwan in 1998. To enlarge worldwide product distribution, in 2004 the company changed its name to COMEUP Industries Inc. In the same year, the company received DNV ISO9001 International Quality Certificate and also launched a full range of automotive winches, including self-recovery, utility and trailer winches with capacities 1,500 - 15,000 lb.
In 2001, COMEUP was successful in gaining CE approval for the entire range of automotive winches. And that same year filed the CBS (Cone Brake Structure) patent in U.S., U.K., Germany, Taiwan, China.
In 2004, having continued the rapid expansion of its strong business, COMEUP Industries opened its second branch factory enlarge the production facilities of ATV/UTV winch and automotive winch.
In 2009, The COMEUP ATV/UTV winch range received the certification of EEC Directive 97/24/EC Chapter 8 from RDW in Netherlands. COMEUP hydraulic winches received certification of compliance with SAE J706 from TUV Rheinland, Also in 2009 COMEUP achieved ISO 9001:2008 certified by TUV NORD
The following year in 2010, COMEUP wireless remote control received CE and FCC Marking approval.
In 2012, set up the COMEUP USA branch office to develop America market.
2015, saw the opening of COMEUP a dedicated distributor for the New Zealand market
